I took a bath last night following this recipe and felt relaxed and rested!
Detox Bath Recipe
To a Full bath tub of hot water - enough to create a sweat, but not scald, add:
- 5-10 drops Essential Oil/s, ie: Lavender, Chamomile, Geranium, Rosemary, Peppermint, etc
- 1 1/2 - 2 cups Epsom Salts
- Optional - add 1/2 - 1 cup of baking soda to neutralize chlorinated water and increase mineral absorption.
- Optional - dash of sea or Himalayan sea salt for mineral content
Epsom salt is made up of magnesium and sulfate which are naturally occurring minerals. This helps to flush the body of toxins and regulate enzymes within the body.
